Manufactured in 1882. The top of the barrel has the two line Hartford address with the etched 38 caliber panel on the left side of the barrel. The left frame side is stamped "38 CAL C". Fitted with checkered grips featuring the embossed cop and thug motif with "COLT" at the top.

Very fine. The revolver retains 70% original nickel finish showing areas of flaking. The grips are excellent with a few minor handling marks and overall crisp checkering. Mechanically needs work as cylinder does not always lock properly. The etched panel is fine.
