Description:

1) Silver Cape of Good Hope General Service medal with Bechuanaland clasp. Marked on the outside rim "Pte H. R. ROSE. D. E. O. V. R.". 2) Silver 2nd type revision with ghost dates Queen's South Africa medal with Cape Colony, Laing's Nek, Transvaal, Relief of Ladysmith, Orange Free State and Tugela Heights clasps. Marked on the outside rim "3915, Pte. R. DAY, 2/Dorset. Rgt.". 3) South Africa medal with 1879 clasp. Marked on the outside rim ".1644.Pte A. HARBISON. 17. D.C.O. Lrs". With a roll copy marked "1644 Harbiane A 1879" 4) Queen's South Africa medal with Johannesburg, Paardeberg and Cape Colony clasps. Marked on the outside rim "3452 Pte D. WESTON. 2: D. OF C. Lt INFt". With military documents pertaining to Daniel Weston.
