Manufactured in 1958 with the standard blade front and frame notch rear sights. The one line Colt address is on top of the barrel and the left side is marked "COLT SINGLE ACTION ARMY .44 SPECIAL". The left side of the frame is marked with the two line, three patent date marking followed by the un-circled Rampant Colt. The left front of the trigger guard is marked with the Colt "VP" triangle proof, the rear is marked "P" and the right front is also marked with a "P". The frame is casehardened with the hammer sides polished and the remaining metal surfaces blue. Fitted with black checkered hard rubber grips with the Rampant Colt in an oval at the tops. With the original black Colt box with gold end label, cleaning brush and papers.

Near new with some light scratches on the cylinder and a few light storage marks overall. The box is good with hinge absent and some material loss.
