Manufactured in 1957. The top of the barrel is marked with the one line address, "COLT SINGLE ACTION ARMY 38 SPECIAL" on the left side and the left side of the frame is marked with the two line, three patent dates followed by the Rampant Colt. The matching serial number is marked on the bottom of the frame and on the left side of the grip straps under the grip, and the matching number is on the inside of each grip panel. Matching assembly number on the right rear of the frame and on the loading gate. Standard fixed sights, blue finish with casehardened frame and polished hammer sides, and fitted with checkered hard rubber grips with the Rampant Colt in an oval at the top. Complete with the original hinged lid black box numbered to the gun, cleaning brush and papers. Also comes with an after market leather bound hardcase.

Near new with only the very slightest handling/storage marks. The box is very good. The case is excellent.

Excellent plus with 99% plus original blue and casehardened finish, with only slight handling/storage marks and a very faint drag line on the cylinder. The box is very good with some of the paper hinge beginning to peel and two separated corners on the lid.
