The frame of the pepperbox has an elaborate gold inlaid scroll pattern. The top of the frame has "N. VIVARIO-PLOMDEUR/ARQr DU ROI A LIEGE" also inlaid in gold. A Liege "ELG" proof is stamped between two percussion nipples. It is a double action pistol with a ring trigger. The fluted barrel cluster is made up of six barrels. The pistol has an all blue finish and is fitted with fluted ivory grips.

Very fine. The pistol retains 70% bright original high polish blue finish with the balance a smooth brown patina. The grips are very fine with some scattered mild handling marks and a few small hairline stress cracks at the screws. The very fine ivory has an attractive color and grain pattern. Mechanically excellent.
