Description:

Black male bearskin fur cap circa 1953 with a wicker frame and an adjustable leather backed wide graduated chin chain. The leather brow band has the number "505" in white paint on the inside at the rear. There is a illegible white maker's stamp on the inside. With cloth cover, green metal stand and a black metal storage container.

Rating Definition:

Very good, most of the fur remains. The chin chain shows some light oxidation. The leather lining is good with one of the fingers absent, some deteriorating of another and the adjustment cord is broken. The stand is very good with some light dents and scratches. The storage container is good with a number of scratches and dents with 80% of the finish remaining.
