The lock plate is marked "BRANDER/&/POTTS" and the top barrel flat is marked "LONDON" with three British proofs stamped on the upper left barrel flat. The barrel has a flared muzzle with nearly a 1 inch opening. An 11 inch snap bayonet is mounted on top of the barrel with the release mechanism located on the barrel tang. The barrel, trigger guard, ramrod pipes and flat buttplate are brass. A floral blossom is engraved on the trigger guard which has a pineapple finial. The straight grip stock has a checkered wrist. A brass tipped wooden ramrod is included.

Very good. The brass has an attractive patina. The iron components have a mottled gray patina. The stock is fine as repaired with some minor handling marks. Overall the checkering is crisp. Mechanically fine.
