Measuring 38 1/2 inches overall, with a 32 1/2 inch, slightly curved single fuller blade, with a gold finished "PROVED/(Fleur-De-Lis)" insert on the right ricasso, and a blank panel on the left. Etched designs are present on each side, with "VOLUNTEER/RIFLES" on the right and the Victoria cipher on the left. Cut-through guard with border designs, and a wire wrapped sharkskin grip. With a metal scabbard.

Good, with a dark patina forming on the dark lightly pitted metal and minimal wear on the grip. The scabbard is also pitted overall.
