Description:

1) This is an officer's service sabretache for the 17th Lancers. The body is composed of black leather with a black patent leather flap with a silvered crown over the skull and crossbones badge of the 17th Lancers. 2) This is an officer's undress sabretache for the 5th Royal Irish Lancers. The body is composed of black leather with a black patent leather flap. On the flap is a silvered crown over gilt crossed lances with a silvered crown over the Irish harp over the center of the lances with a silvered banner at the bottom marked "FIFTH ROYAL IRISH" with clover sprays on each end.

Rating Definition:

1) Good, there is considerable crazing with some minor flaking and wear. There is a hole on the backside of the pouch. The silvered components have a dark aged patina. 2) Very good, there is some wear overall. The gilt components are bright and the silvered components have a dark aged patina.
