This is an officer's bearskin of the Grenadier Guards. The inside has a wicker frame that supports the bear skin. There is a gilt flaming bomb plume holder with the Royal Arms of Great Britain holding a white feather plume. The sweat band/liner is black leather with a "7 1/4" size label and a "L. SILBERSTON & SONS" label. There is a gilt leather backed graduated chin chain. With an extra white feather plume.

Excellent, the exterior shows little wear. The gilt components have a generally bright appearance with some verdigris. The plume is excellent. The leather sweat band/liner is very good with a ripped finger. The extra plume is good with stains.
