Description:

1) 6th or Queen Elizabeth's Own Gurkhas rod tensioned tenor drum manufactured by Premier. The laminated birch shell body is black with the face painted dark green with crossed kukri's with the Queen's crown above them, the number "6" below with a banner marked "QUEEN ELIZABETH'S OWN" under the 6. There are 10 battle honors on the left side, 10 on the right side, 1 above and 1 below the center. 2) Premier rod tensioned snare drum. The laminated birch body is black with the front marked "1st Bn IRISH GUARDS" in a banner at the top with the Queen's crown over the Royal Arms of Great Britain over the Order of St. Patrick. There are 10 battle honors on the right side, 1 at the bottom center and 10 on the right side. There are two levers on the side to disengage the snares. Signed on the bottom "K.Nichols".

Rating Definition:

1) Very good, there are scratches and nicks on the chrome components with some light oxidation concentrated mostly on the threads. The top head shows some wear. 2) Very good, the body has some scattered dings and there are scratches and nicks on the chrome components with some oxidation concentrated mostly on the threads. The rubber hole gasket has hardened and is deteriorating.
