Description:

1) This is an officer's dress sabretache of the Royal Artillery. The body is composed of black leather with a black fabric front with silver lace around the outside edge. There is extensive silver bullion embroidery on the Royal Arms of Great Britain at the top. There is a silvered number "2" badge in the center over oak-leaf and acorn silver embroidery over a gilt cannon badge over three raised purple velvet banners marked "QUO FAS ET GLORIA DUCUNT". The pouch is lined with red leather. With a black leather cover lined with red velvet. 2) This is an officer's pouch of the Artillery Volunteers. This large pouch is composed of black leather and dark blue melton cloth. There is silver lace around the outside edge of the flap with extensive silver bullion oak-leaf and acorn embroidery around a Victorian crown over three silvered cannon badges. With silvered belt loops having floriated hardware. With a black leather cover lined with red velvet.

Rating Definition:

1) Very good, the silver bullion, lace and badge have a dark aged patina. The gilt badge has a dark appearance. The leather has some minor wear and flaking. The cover is also very good with some minor wear and a few touch up spots on the back. 2) Fine, the silver lace, bullion and badges have a dark aged patina. The leather shows minor wear overall. The cover is very good with some scuffs and scratches.
