Measuring 41 inches overall, the 34 3/4 inch straight single fuller blade is marked "F.W. FLIGHT/HIGH ST/WINCHESTER" on the left ricasso, a gold finished "PROVED/P" seal on the right, and etched decoration on the sides, including unit mottos, symbols and the cipher of Edward VII. 2-branch guard with a checkered grip section and wire wrapped sharkskin grip. With a nickel finished sheath.

Very good, mostly bright metal, with some pitting visible on the ricasso and spine, with scattered handling marks overall. A small circle of rust is present on either side of the hilt above the wrap with flaking on the pommel and sheath.
