Description:

This lot consists of three British Crimean War medals each awarded to a different participant. 1) Awarded to Hospital Sergeant J. Elton of the 2nd Battalion 82 Regiment of Foot with the Sebastopol clasp. 2) Awarded to Pte. J. Boothby of the Coldstream Guards with Sebastopol and Inkermann clasps. Consignor notes state that Boothby was killed in action at the Battle of Inkermann. 3) Awarded to G.H. Bell of the Coldstream Guards with Sebastopol, Inkermann, Balaklava and Alma clasps. Comes with copies of service records (Bell died on January 24, 1855).

Rating Definition:

1) Very good with a number of minor handling marks, some bruising on the rim and staining on the back of the ribbon. 2) Fine with some minor handling marks and a few pin size holes on the ribbon. 3) Fine with some minor handling marks.
