Description:

All patches are shield shaped, with a Nazi eagle and an oak leaf cluster between a pair of unit flags. Each set of flags bears a Waffenfarbe color, and each patch is set in a 8 inch by 12 1/4 inch black metal frame with black matting, "Der Fahnentrager" (The Standard Bearer) above the patch and "Standarte (X)" below, with "(X)" being the appropriate service. Units represented include Kradschutzen (motorcycle troop), Jaeger (light infantry), Panzer (armor), Pionieren (engineer), Kavallerie (cavalry), Nachtrichten (signals), Infanterie (infantry), Gebirgsjaeger (mountain troop), Artillerie (artillery) and Nachschub (logistics).
