This is an extremely rare, very early Walther Commercial PP Pistol. The Walther PP series pistols were first introduced in 1928/1929 and were followed by the introduction of the PPK series later that year. These pistols represented the first major redesign by the Walther Company of their original blow-back operated semi-automatic pocket pistol that would usher in almost 50 years of Walther PP and PPK production. The serial numbers of the Walther PP series started with “750,000” and with this specific pistol being numbered “751,236” thus making it the 1,236th Walther PP Pistol ever produced. Most of these early pistols were sold in Europe, with most seeing 17 plus years of wartime use, making all of these early examples in excellent condition, extremely rare today.

Excellent. The pistol retains 98% plus original blue finish with some light edge wear. The safety and trigger retains 70% niter blue. The grips are excellent with a few minor handling marks. Overall the checkering is crisp. Mechanically excellent.
