The chamber area is dated 1941and the front toggle is correctly marked with the Mauser banner logo. The left side of the barrel extension is marked with the full serial number along with a small "Eagle/N" commercial proof typically seen on P.08 Police Lugers along with an eagle proof and the right extension is marked with an "Eagle/L" Police proof on the right side. The full serial number is also stamped on the frame (with "x" suffix), with the partial serial number (69) stamped on the various small parts, except the magazine. It has the standard safety and extractor with a late war all blue finish. This pistol has one late war type three Army magazine that has the aluminum base with the pin through the center that is marked on the bottom: "6099/g". It is complete with a late war smooth black leather military holster, that is marked on the back: "DLU/41/Eagle WAa641" with "P08" marked in the upper right hand corner.

Excellent with 98% plus of the original late war dark blue/black finish with only minor handling marks on the edges of the pistol overall. The grips are in excellent condition plus with nice distinct checkering on both sides, with minimal handling marks. Mechanically excellent. The pistol has matching numbers except the magazine as noted above. The holster is excellent
