Manufactured in 1917, The left side of the slide is marked with the two line, two block 1897-1913 patent dates and address with the Rampant Colt behind the serrations. The right side of the frame is marked "GOVERNMENT MODEL" with the serial number right below. Smooth trigger, serrated slide stop, thumb safety, magazine release and wide spur hammer. Standard lower profile fixed sights with the early variation rounded rear sight. Lanyard loop on the heel with two tone unmarked magazine. Checkered walnut grips with diamond pattern around the screws.

Professionally refinished. The pistol retains 97% of the high polish blue finish with handling and storage marks. The grips are very good with handling and storage marks. Mechanically excellent with the feed ramp being heavily milled, polished.
