Description:

This is an excellent original example of a mid-1943 production U.S. Army contract pistol. The left side of slide has two line address with "P" in front of rear sight. "FJA" inspector mark and crossed-cannon Ordnance proof are present. Correct wartime blue High Standard barrel marked "HS" and "P". Fitted with Keyes-Fibre Company grips and blue magazine marked "R" on top of the base lip. With an original GI personalized M3 leather shoulder holster stamped "U.S./ENGER-KRESS/1944".

Rating Definition:

Excellent with 98% plus original parkerized finish showing some light scratches in the finish and minor sharp edge wear, with clear original markings. The grips are excellent having minor handling marks with sharp checkering. Mechanically excellent. The holster is very good, with the belt snap at the bottom broken, otherwise intact and well marked.
