Description:

Manufactured in 1943. The left side of slide has the Rampant Colt flanked by the two line, two block patent dates and address, with "P" proof ahead of rear sight. Blue barrel stamped "COLT 45 AUTO" on the chamber, "P" proof on the lug and "F" on the bottom. Ordnance escutcheon and "G.H.D." inspector mark are present. The trigger has a checkered face and checkered grips with reinforcing rings. The matching slide has a mid-late WWII production front sight with matching serial number. The feed ramp is not parkerized. Blue magazine with "R" on the top of floor plate lip.

Rating Definition:

Excellent with 98% finish having only minor sharp edge wear. The grips are excellent showing minor handling with sharp checkering. Mechanically excellent.
