Manufactured in March of 1942 and has a British proofed barrel. Bolt is a later production SA replacement. Blade and peep sights with a Battle Range drum. Smooth military stock with a boxed "SA/GHS" and Ordnance cartouches on the left side, a circled "P" in the grip area, brown leather sling and a checked buttplate with compartment holding a four piece cleaning rod.

Very fine. The rifle retains 90% original parkerized finish with the balance a smooth brown patina. The reoiled wood is fine with some putty filled blemishes and some scattered minor handling marks. The cartouches are clear. Mechanically excellent. Lend-lease Garands are now very desirable because they were original and not part guns.
