This rare gas operated rifle was manufactured in Czechoslovakia circa 1938. It has a fixed blade front sight, fixed rear sight and a two-position flip safety. The front sling swivel is also the charging handle. The barrel is marked on the left side "1112", a Lion proof mark and "38". The right side is marked "7.0". Mounted on a multi-point checkered two-piece walnut stock with raised cheekpiece, plastic grip cap, rear sling swivel and a checkered plastic buttplate. The stock has the number "156" and "7 x 57" stamped between the grip cap and rear sling swivel. Missing magazine.

Very good as refinished retaining half of the blue finish with thinning and a smooth gray patina on the balance over some areas of light pitting. There are scattered light scratches. The stock is very good with a couple small dings and scratches with a small chip at the top of the wrist, a small crack at the bottom of the wrist and a chip at the toe.
