Chamber dated 1937 and toggle marked "S/42", with "eagle/63" and "droop wing eagle" firing proofs on barrel extension and barrel with the firing proof repeated on the breechblock. Bore diameter "8,81" marked on the bottom of the barrel with properly marked extractor and safety positions. Visible serial numbers match except for the magazine and renumbered side plate. Fixed sights, blue unmarked magazine with aluminum base numbered "4867" and fitted with checkered walnut grips with a large "89" stamped inside of the left panel.

Very fine as partially refinished. The pistol retains 75% blue finish with some muzzle and high edge wear with an old touch-up reblue on the grip straps and side plate thinning to a smooth plum patina. The grips are very fine with a few minor nicks in the otherwise crisp checkering. The markings are clear and crisp. The magazine hangs up a bit, otherwise the mechanics are excellent.
