1940 dated chamber with code "42" on the front toggle. Eagle firing and "eagle/63" proofs on the right barrel extension and barrel with the bore diameter marking, "8,81" on the underside. Matching numbers, except the magazine and renumbered side plate. Desirable blue "fxo", eagle proofed and "P08" marked magazine with un-numbered aluminum base and fitted with checkered walnut grips.

Very fine as partially refinished with 70% blue finish, with the balance being an old touch-up blue finish on the grip straps and side plate, with some muzzle and high edge wear, thinning on the side plate and a smooth plum patina on the trigger guard and grip straps. There are streaks of original blue finish on the aforementioned parts with strong original blue finish in the protected area of the stock lug. With the exception of a small chip absent directly below the safety, the grips are very fine with a few minor nicks and dings in the checkering. The markings are clear. Mechanically excellent.
