Description:

The left side of the slide is marked "P.38", "ac/41", followed by the serial number, "1687e". The serial number is also marked on the left side of the frame and on the front of the barrel lug. The right side of the slide is marked with two "eagle/359" Army acceptance marks and the "eagle/swastika". The left side of the frame behind the serial number, the right side of the frame, the left side of the hammer, the barrel lug and the right side of the locking block are also marked with the "eagle/359" Army acceptance marks. The blue magazine is unmarked. Fitted with serrated Bakelite grips and a round lanyard loop on the lower left side.

Rating Definition:

Excellent. The pistol retains 90% plus of the original finish with sharp edge wear and marks from use and handling. Overall spotting is visible with areas of the finish tending toward a gray/brown patina. The grips are excellent with wear and marks from use and handling. Mechanically excellent.
