Desirable Original Mauser "75th Year" Cased 1902 Luger Carbine Parabellum Commemorative with Matching Shoulder Stock, Magazines and Accessories

This is a like new, all original "75th Jahre" 1902 cased commemorative Luger carbine as reintroduced and produced by the Mauser factory. These were produced on a very limited basis in 1979 and were intended to commemorate 75 years of Mauser production. This pistol is accompanied by a Mauser certificate guaranteeing that this pistol, serial number "86" is one of only "250" pistols produced and sold world wide. These pistols all have a beautiful Mauser high polish blued finish, straw colored small parts with beautifully checkered, dark European grips, forend and shoulder stock. When issued these were almost identical to the original 1902 Luger carbines, and include the 300 meter adjustable rear sight, inverted "v" front sight mounted on a raised barrel ramp and grip safety, differing only in some of the machining on the receiver, some of the various markings and no accelerator in the forend, (which is not required with the larger 9mm cartridge). The top of the chamber area has the new/current Mauser family crest that consists of the Wurttemberg Crest in the center, flanked by a "Crowned-Standing Lion" on the left side and a large Stag on the right, with a gold "DWM" logo etched on top of the front toggle. The right side of the barrel extension is marked with serial number, "K 086 von 250", (along with a small Interarms Logo) which a matching serial number on the frame, shoulder stock attaching iron and shoulder stock itself. The left side of the frame is marked with the following gold filed, etched inscription, "75 JAHRE/Parabellum-Pistole/Mod. Karabiner". The front grip strap is marked "MAUSER-WERKE OBERNDORF GMBH" and the back of the frame is marked "MADE IN GERMANY". This beautiful example is accompanied by it's original matching walnut Luger carbine stock, two wood base blued magazines, takedown tool, cleaning brush, small plastic Mauser hanging tag, original factory test target, brass cleaning rod, instruction manual, warranty card, and keys for the case locks, all stored in an original Mauser produced, leather bound carrying case. Even the cases were manufactured to simulate/duplicate the original Mauser style carbine carrying cases. Since this pistol was originally produced with a wooden shoulder stock, it has been registered with the Bureau Of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms and is currently listed as a stocked pistol on the ATF Form 4 that carries a $5.00 transfer fee.

ConditionExcellent like new condition with 99% plus of the original Mauser factory blued finish, with no evidence of having been fired since it left the factory. The various wood components, grips, forend and shoulder stock are all in like new condition with sharp checkering throughout. Excellent pistol that is fairly scarce in this country. If you can't afford the $25K for an original 1902 Luger carbine this is an excellent alternative. NOTE: This item is currently registered with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco Firearms and Explosives, as a National Firearms Act (NFA) weapon, which has been classified as a Curios or Relic as defined in 27 CFR, 478.11. These weapons are still subject to the provisions of 18 U.S.C. Chapter 44 and 27 CFR part 478. Before bidding on this item, it is the sole responsibility and obligation of the bidder/Class 3 FFL holder to comply and understand with all the State and Federal transfer laws and restrictions that apply in their current place of residence.
