This is an example of an early pre-ban Colt AR-15 Sporter. Manufactured circa 1982. The left side of the magazine well is marked with the circled Rampant Colt followed by "COLT/AR-15" over "CAL. .223/MODEL SP1/SER. SP127679" and the left side of the receiver is marked with the three line address. The rifle is equipped with a birdcage flash hider, bayonet lug, post front sight, flip up rear peep sight, fixed carry handle and is not equipped with forward bolt assist. The top of the barrel is marked "C MP CHROME BORE". Mounted with a triangle vented handguard, pistol grip and stock with a plastic buttplate. With shipping box, two extra magazines, cleaning rod, bore brush, chamber brush and manual.

Excellent, 99% original parkerized finish with some light rub marks and light scratches overall. Stock, forearm and pistol grip are all excellent. Box is fair.
