Manufactured circa 1902 and nitro re-proofed in 1971. This shotgun has a single steel bead sight on a solid matte rib, is choked improved cylinder/improved modified and has lengthened chambers to 2 3/4 inches with extractor. Both barrels and the water table are marked with the serial number "51422". The bottom tang is marked "54422" and "GRADE F20". It appears that the 1 was turned into a 4, possibly during refinishing. Mounted on a checkered walnut forearm with ebony insert and straight grip stock with serrated wooden buttplate and blank initial oval. With plain cardboard box.

Professionally refurbished with 96% blue finish remaining with wear on the lower tang and along the solid rib. The receiver retains 95% case colors, the break lever retains 75% case colors, the safety escutcheon retains 50% case colors, the knuckle retains 50% case colors and the forearm release retains 10% case colors. The wood is very good as refinished with some scattered light scratches and some scattered light pressure dents.
