Single brass bead sight on the solid matte rib. The barrels and flats are marked "SLEEVED" and with various proof marks and measurements. The box lock action is engraved with fine scroll work and marked "W&C. SCOTT & SON" on each side. The engraving pattern extends to the break lever and trigger guard. 2 3/4 inch chambers, screw-in chokes, with ejectors. The action is casehardened and the remaining parts are blue. Double triggers, tang mounted automatic safety and mounted with a nicely figured checkered walnut splinter forearm with engraved hardware and round knob pistol grip stock with tear drop flats, serrated hard rubber buttplate and silver initial oval. Length of pull is 14 inches.

Modified and refinished, the barrels which retain 98% blue finish with the left barrel showing wear at the junction point of the barrels and old breech. The remaining blue surfaces retain 90% blue finish with loss concentrated on the lower trigger guard tang which shows a smooth gray patina. The action has a smooth gray patina with strong original case colors in the protected areas of the fences and ahead of the trigger guard. The refinished wood is excellent with a few minor pressure dents and handling marks, and crisp checkering. The engraving is crisp. Mechanically excellent.
