Single brass bead sight on the smooth concave solid rib with makers mark on the rib difficult to read. 2 3/4 inch chambers with extractor. The frame and side plates with simple border and floral scroll designs with two partridges on each side and marked "M.F. KENNEDY" on each lock. The trigger guard is engraved with a hunting dog and game bird scene. Blue barrels and trigger guard with casehardened remaining parts. Unique flat faces double hammers, double triggers, left handed Purdey style break lever and mounted with a checkered walnut forearm and straight grip stock with teardrop flats, skip line checkered horn buttplate and gold initial shield inscribed "TBC". Length of pull is 14 inches.

Partially refinished, the barrels which retain 20% blue finish, mainly in the protected areas under the forearm, with a smooth brown patina on the balance and almost all of the Damascus pattern remaining. The remaining surfaces have a smooth mottled gray patina. The wood is good with a number of minor dents, dings and scratches on the stock and moderate overall checkering wear. The initial shield is not inletted into the stock. The engraving is clear. Mechanically fine.
