Manufactured 1978-1989. It has a fixed front sight and adjustable rear sight, serrated spur hammer, serrated trigger and arched grooved mainspring housing. Fitted with checkered walnut grips with gold Colt medallions. Includes a Colt "woodgrain" box.

Near new, having a light scratch under the slide catch and a few minor handling rubs on the front grip strap. The box shows moderate wear.
