This model was called the "El Capitan" model and was produced in 1973/1974 using earlier frames that were found at the FN Herstale factory. This series has the early tangent sight rear sight graduated from 50-500 meters along with the slotted back strap. The left side of the slide has the standard two line maker marking and the trigger guard has the number "6" along with the circled Belgium "PV" firing proof of the Liege proof house. It has the original stacked and matching serial numbers on chamber, slide, and frame and is complete with checkered grips and one original Belgium magazine.

Excellent plus with 99% of the original factory blue finish. The grips are excellent and show no handling marks or use anywhere. Mechanically excellent.
