Manufactured in 1901. Blade and elevation adjustable sights with full length magazine. The barrel has the two line address marking and "45-90 W.C.F." on the top and the upper tang is marked "-MODEL 1886-". The serial number along with the two line patent dates marking appears on the lower tang. Smooth straight grip stock with a crescent buttplate.

About good. The brown patina barrel and magazine retain traces of faded original blue finish in the protected areas and the receiver retains traces of silver out original case colors with the balance a smooth gray patina. There is some scattered pin point pitting. The wood is good with a few minor gouges and some minor handling marks. Mechanically excellent.
