A) Danish Model 1891 Navy Double Action Revolver

Description:

Fixed front and rear sights. Nickel plated trigger and hammer. The topstrap is marked "crown SA" (So Arsenal/Sea Arsenal) . The frame has the J.B. Rouge of Liege, Belgium makers mark on the right side and the serial numbers stamped on the left side. The matching serial number is also stamped on the cylinder. Fitted with checkered walnut grips and a lanyard loop. The right grip has a brass insert marked"402"

Rating Definition:

Very fine. The revolver retains 90% of the arsenal blue finish with some thinning and overall light spotting with sharp edge wear from use and handling. The cylinder shows a drag line. The grips are very fine with the checkering showing wear from use, it however remains well defined. Mechanically excellent.

Description:

The top strap is stamped "GAP No *1007*" and "EJERCITO MEXICANO" is stamped on the top strap, frame and cylinder. Barrel is numbered to the gun. Fitted with checkered Pieper marked grips with a lanyard ring on the butt.

Rating Definition:

Very fine as arsenal refurbished. The revolver retains 95% of the blue finish showing some minor thinning. The grips are good with worn checkering which has an area of crude re-checkering and right panel has been repaired
