Fine. The barrel on the rifle retains 60% of the original brown finish with some scattered minor pitting and areas of gray patina. The second barrel retains 60% thin original brown finish with a smooth mottled patina on the balance. The stock is excellent with 95% original varnish remaining and showing some scattered minor dents and scratches. The silver mountings have a bright appearance. Unless noted above, the markings and engraving and clear. The action is fine. The case is fair with a large section of the wood veneer absent and a couple of moderate cracks in the lid. The lining is about good with some fading, moderate contact wear and staining. The accessories are all good or better.
