The top of the barrel has two gold highlighted proofs which are surrounded by silver inlaid accents. The lock has a floral engraving which incorporates a running dog and a gold highlighted "DE/OP" proof. The hammer also features a floral engraving. The trigger guard, buttcap, side plate and ramrod pipes are brass and are floral engraved with the buttcap also having a relief grotesque face. The full length stock has a flared butt and an engraved brass accent which surrounds the engraved barrel tang and extends downward near the butt.

Good. The barrel has a smooth gray patina with overall light pitting. The brass has an attractive patina with a crisp engraving. The repaired revarnished stock is also good with a minor crack near the side plate and a few minor handling marks. Mechanically fine.
