Very good. The pistol has a smooth gray patina mixed with a protective coating. The stock is fine with some scattered minor handling marks on the checkering. Overall the checkering remains crisp.

This is an example of an Italian pistol possibly made circa 1680-1700 without maker markings (that writer could use to determine age). The barrel has silver and brass floral blossom inlays along with a brass band accented with silver at the muzzle and breech. The pistol has engraved brass furniture accented with silver overlays including the open-work side plate. Mounted on a highly figured burl walnut stock. With a wooden brass tipped ramrod.

Very good. The pistol has a smooth gray patina with the brass having an attractive patina. The silver is fine. The repaired stock is fine with some minor handling marks and a couple missing minor chips. The action retracts but does not function correctly. The trigger will not release hammer.
