Standard brass cone front and hammer notch rear sights and fitted with a one-piece ivory grip with a silver decorative floral overlay. The revolver is complete with a tooled brown leather holster and belt with a silver buckle and knife with a brown leather tooled sheath, with silver throat and tip. The knife has a 8 inch blade, silver hand guard and stag grip. The blade is marked "G. WOSTENHOLM & SON/WASHINGTON WORKS" and "THE REAL I* XL KNIFE (in a banner)/THE HUNTERS COMPANION" on one side along the spine and a large "I * XL" on the ricasso.

Rating Definition:

Very fine. The barrel retains 80% original blue finish with a smooth brown patina on the balance. The top and upper left barrel flat at the muzzle show heavy metal wear. The cylinder retains 20% original blue finish mixed with a smooth gray patina. The cylinder scene is clear. The frame retains 60% original case colors, the lever retains most of the original case colors on the lug and the hammer shows strong flashes of the original case colors. The brass has a very pleasant aged patina. The grip is fine with age cracks on the bottom and a pleasant patina. The silver overlay has a separation on one of the stems, otherwise very good. The leather is good with some heavy wear on the belt and sheath. The stitching has been period redone on the upper sides of the sheath, otherwise the stitching is tight. The knife is good with signs of some sharpening and some grind marks on the blade. The silver has an aged patina and the grip is very good.
