Description:

Measuring 10 3/4 inches wide, 5 3/4 inches deep and 1 3/4 inches tall, this mahogany case is configured to accept an 1849 Pocket Revolver with a five inch long barrel. The exterior is unmarked, with a space for a shield escution for the lock, and brass hinges. American style interior, with deep purple velvet lining and 5 compartments. Contained within the case are a number of lead bullets, "L" shaped screwdriver/nipple wrench, 6 1/2 inch long cleaning rod, functional key and an unsealed Eley Brothers lacquered cap tin.

Rating Definition:

Good. A few thin cracks are visible in the lid, with minor handling marks overall. The interior is good, with strong purple color on the lid lining, mild wear from the revolver, and a few loose divider sections with some modification to the area that touches the triggerguard.. Would make a fine addition to a Colt Model 1849 Pocket Revolver.
