Manufactured from 1870 to 1890. Standard two line Hartford barrel address followed by "No. 1" and standard frame engraving with checkered panels featured on the grip area. The barrel is numbered to the gun and the underside of the barrel is stamped with two British proofs. The right side of the frame is stamped "41 CAL" under the barrel release.

Very good as partially refinished (right side of barrel). The derringer has a smooth gray patina with the barrel retaining 40% blue finish. There is some scattered pin point pitting. The barrel release button is a crude replacement. Mechanically fine.
