This is a very rare early production Swiss model 1906/34 commercial contract Luger pistol as produced by the DWM/Mauser factory, with the "Cross in Sunburst" crest on the chamber and DWM logo on the front toggle. This specific Swiss Luger is even more rare in that it has the early letter "V" suffix code in the serial number. These were only produced for a very short time before the DWM factory switched to the standard five-digit serial number block, with this specific Luger numbered only on the front of the frame, the underside of the barrel, left side of the barrel extension, and underside of the sideplate, with no other parts numbered. This example has the correct polished/milled lower safety position with no markings with the "GELADEN" marked extractor. It has the distinctive fast taper barrel, 1906 style grip safety with no stock lug, flat toggles and correct Swiss cross proof on the various parts. The pistol is complete with one original nickel plated magazine with an unmarked wooden base.

Excellent with 95% plus of the blue finish overall, with minor wear on the edges and high spots overall. The back strap is thinning slightly. The various small parts retain 70% of their original straw colors overall. The grips are excellent with nice distinct checkering on both sides with minimal handling marks. Mechanically excellent. One will look a very long time to find another correct, original Mauser 06/34 V-series Swiss Luger like this excellent example!
