This is an excellent example of a Nazi "G" date P.08 Luger pistol that was manufactured by the Mauser factory in 1935. Complete with two matching magazines and an original brown leather holster. These early Lugers were all produced during the early rearmament by the Nazi with the "G" date being the secret code for 1935. The chamber has the single "G" date with the "S/42" Mauser code on the front toggle. The right side of the barrel extension has the early single "Eagle/63" droop wing acceptance proof next to a single Eagle firing proof. The underside of the barrel has the serial number and bore diameter, along with the single "Eagle/63" Waffenamt proof and a single Eagle firing proof. It has the correct military style serial number placement with the full serial number (9663d) on the frame and both magazines, with (9663) on the barrel extension and barrel, with the last two digits (63) on the various small parts. It is correctly marked "Gesichert" and "Geladen" in the safety area and it has the standard fixed front and rear sight. This Luger is accompanied with two early nickel plated, magazines with the aluminum bases that are marked "9663/d/Eagle/63 and 9663/d/+/Eagle 63" respectively. This early Luger is complete with a 1935 dated "Technical Police" (TP) proofed brown leather holster and "Eagle/63" proofed take down tool. The holster is stamped on the back "ROBERT LARSEN/BERLIN/1935/TP".

Excellent with 98% of the original blue finish with only very minor wear on the edges and high spots. The straw colors are 85% intact with exception of the takedown lever which is renumbered to match and restrawed. The grips are also excellent with nice distinct checkering on both sides with minimal handling marks. The holster is excellent with excellent original brown color overall with only minor scuffing and loss of color on top of the flap with tight excellent stitching and sharp crisp markings.
