Produced before the outbreak of World War II, this PPK shows the scarce matte chrome "verchromt" finish. Fixed sights, with black fill in the Walther banner, 2-line address and caliber marking, and "Mod. PPK" on the left side of the slide, and "crown/ N" proofs on the slide, chamber and muzzle. Proper hand-marked partial serial number on the inside of the slide, with an early 90 degree safety, ring hammer, and checkered mixed brown Walther banner grips. With a proper verchromt finished magazine, with mixed brown extension base and "WALTHER" banner on the left side.

Excellent, with 95% of the original verchromt finish, showing a small amount of brown spotting on the frontstrap, mild handling marks, and a tiny amount of flaking concentrated near the muzzle. A small bright spot is present on the right side of the slide. Grips and extension are both excellent, with minor pressure dents and sharp checkering. Mechanically excellent.
