This is an example of a scarce pre-war commercial Walther PP semi-automatic pistol in very scarce "6.35 mm" caliber. These PP and PPK pistols produced in 6.35mm (25 ACP) were produced on a very limited basis by the Walther factory as they were not readily accepted by the German commercial market. The left side of the slide has the Walther Banner followed by the two-line Walther factory address, patent markings and caliber. The right side of the pistol has the pre-war commercial "crown/N" stamped on the slide, chamber and muzzle. The right side of the frame has the vertically stamped PP serial number. It is fitted with standard, black checkered Walther banner grips and one original Walther marked magazine with the black finger grip extension on the bottom. With a reproduction brown storage box.

Extremely fine with 90% plus of the slightly faded original pre-war blue finish overall with wear on the edges and high spots, with some minor blue loss on the front edge of the grip strap, trigger guard bow, front edges of the slide with a small amount of fine pitting, directly below the ejection port. The grips are also in very fine condition with nice distinct checkering on both sides with some minor wear around the right grips screw bushing. One will look a long time before they see another one of these!
