The immediate predecessor to the P-38, this pistol bears an "eagle/ 359" (Walther) martial proof on the right side of the slide. Fixed sights, with the Walther banner, two line address and "Mod. HP" on the left side of the slide, "eagle/ N" proofs on the slide, barrel and lug, and matching numbers overall. The grips are ribbed.

Excellent, with 90% of the bright original high polish blue finish, showing thinning of the front grip strap and minor holster wear. The grips are very fine, with light wear and dents. Mechanically excellent. Military proofed Walther HP commercials are highly sought after variations!
