Manufactured in 1976 with a factory A style engraving. Pinned ramped blade front sight and adjustable Elliason rear sight, with the one line Hartford address on the left barrel side, Rampant Colt over "MATCH TARGET" on left frame side, and "COLT" followed by "AUTOMATIC / CAL. 22 LONG RIFLE" on the slide. The barrel, frame, slide, and trigger guard have a simple scroll and punch dot background engraved wedges. Polished blue finished with a matte blue finish on top of the barrel, frame and slide. In Colt display case.

Near new. The pistol retains over 99% original blue finish with some very scattered minor handling marks. The grips are also excellent with a few minor handling marks. The checkering is crisp. The case is very fine. Extremely rare to find a factory engraved Colt Woodsman, let alone a match target!
