Manufactured in 1940. Adjustable target sights with the two line address/patent dates marking on top of the barrel, "THE WOODSMAN" on the left side of the frame, "COLT" followed by "AUTOMATIC/ CAL.22 LONG RIFLE" and the Rampant Colt on the slide. Checkered walnut grips and a Woodsman marked magazine. Complete with Colt paper hinge box numbered to the gun, papers and two bore brushes.

Excellent plus. The pistol retains 99% plus original blue finish with slight thinning on the back strap and some very light spotting (mostly on grip straps and top of slide). The grips are also excellent with a couple minor nicks in the overall crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent. The box is fine with some separation and paper loss at one corner along with limited minor edge wear. The interior has some minor stains.
