Manufactured 1940. Ramped Patridge front and adjustable rear target sight. The top of the barrel has the two line address/patent date marking with the left side marked "THE WOODSMAN". The left side of the slide has the caliber marking with a Rampant Colt. The trigger guard is stamped with the letter "P" and factory triangle proof on the left side and the number "25" on the right side. The pistol has a serrated trigger, straight tapered barrel, serrated section at the top of the back strap and fitted with checkered walnut grips. With one extra magazine, box numbered to gun, test target and instruction sheet. The two magazines that are included with this pistol have Colt Woodsman caliber markings on the base.

Excellent, 98% original blue finish with some muzzle and high edge wear. The grips are both excellent with sharp checkering. The box is good.
