Manufactured in 1975, this pistol was special ordered from Colt by noted collector Larry Mayle. Blade and adjustable notch sights, with the one line Hartford address on the barrel, Rampant Colt over "TARGETSMAN" on the chamber and the caliber markings on the slide. Finished in full nickel including the magazine body, with attractive scroll and punch dot engraving on 40% of the surface, as well as dotted checkerboard accents and leafy borders at the breech of the barrel and a floral accent at the bottom of the back strap. Fitted with a pair of checkered walnut thumbrest grips. Formerly of the Larry Mayle Collection.

Excellent with 99% plus original nickel finish, showing some frosting on the barrel and light handling marks. Grips are excellent with light pressure dents and sharp checkering.
