Manufactured in 1927 with adjustable sights. It has the medium weight barrel and the oval checkered pattern on the mainspring housing indicating it was to be used with standard velocity ammunition. The left side of the frame is marked "THE WOODSMAN" and fitted with checkered walnut grips. With a correct unnumbered Colt Woodsman Target box, bore brush and instruction sheet.

Excellent, 95% original blue finish with some moderate muzzle wear, high edge wear, some backstrap wear, some minor spotting in the slide serrations, a small patch of discoloration on the front strap and some scattered minor scratches. The grips are very good with some moderate bruising and smoothed checkering. The markings are crisp and clear. Mechanically excellent. The box is fair with some pieces missing, some glue repairs and flaking.
